PARK REGULATIONS

REGULATIONS GOVERNING USE OF TOWNSHIP PARKS

Lowell Charter Township is the authorized agent of the Parks

1. The fee and refund policy is as follows: Charge for open park reservations is $35.00. No refundsallowed for picnic areas or open shelter reservations. Enclosed shelterhouse reservations are $100.00 and are entitled to a 50% refund with a 30-day notice of cancellation.
2. Special permission must be granted for special events and items such as tents, spacewalks, dunk tanks, portable toilets, amusements and rides, stages, amplified music, etc. There is an additional$25.00 fee for each amusement in the park. Please contact the Township office to make arrangements. Reserved party must contact the Township office at least two weeks before date of reservation to determine location of items.
3. Within the park limits, we do not allow:
   
   • Intoxicating spirits
   • Drunkenness
   • Rowdyism
   • Hunting or trapping
   • Carrying of firearms or concealed weapons
   • Ponies or Horses
   • Sale of merchandize
   • Mechanical or other concession (except by permit)
   • Posting of signs
   • ATV and mountain bike use
   • Unleashed dogs - must be on a 6' leash (or by permit)

   We do not allow any animals to defecate in the Park without removing said waste and disposing of it in a proper waste receptacle.

4. Fires are allowed in grills, camp stoves and fireplaces only.
5. Persons destructive to trees, buildings, equipment, signs, flowers, lawns, shrubs, etc. will be prosecuted and held liable for damages.
6. All papers, cans, rubbish, garbage, and other camp or picnic refuse must be placed in receptacles provided for that purpose. Please help us keep the parks clean.
7. Township Parks shall open at 8:00 A.M. and close at Dusk. All park users must leave at closing time.
8. Shelterhouse furniture must remain inside shelter.
